How we sell firewood (so the prices make sense)
All bulk firewood from AA Firewood Supply is sold by the generous loose cubic metre — not a tight stacked metre, and not by the tonne. You order whole metres only (minimum 1 m³). Every load is seasoned and ready to burn. Delivery is tip-off at the kerb from our Longwarry yard, with clear zone fees based on distance.

1. Local Hardwood Mix — everyday heat, best value
At $160 per loose cubic metre, Local Hardwood Mix is our value workhorse. It is reliable local hardwood — the load you order when you want solid winter heat without paying redgum money for every metre. Ideal for households that burn regularly through June–August and want to stretch the budget across the season.

2. Blue Gum — strong all-rounder
Blue Gum sits at $180/m³ — a step up from local mix with solid hardwood heat. If you want a clean, capable fire without jumping straight to premium redgum pricing, Blue Gum is the middle path many Gippsland homes settle on.

3. Redgum / Local Hardwood Mix — redgum punch, smarter spend
At $210/m³, our Redgum / Local Hardwood Mix blends redgum’s longer, hotter burn with local hardwood value. It is the “best of both” option when you want more punch than straight local mix, but you are not filling the shed with pure redgum.
4. Redgum — the winter favourite
Redgum at $250/m³ is the classic Gippsland winter load: hot, long-burning, and the wood people ask for when the frost settles in. Use it when you want maximum heat density and longer coals — overnight heaters, cold snaps, and anyone who values burn time over the lowest price per metre.
5. Box Mix — dense heat, clean burn
Also $250/m³, Box Mix is dense box hardwood with strong heat and a clean burn. Choose Box Mix when you want premium density and a tidy fire — similar premium tier to redgum, different character in the hearth.
