Delivery pricing should be boring and predictable. That is why AA Firewood Supply publishes firewood delivery zones from our Longwarry yard — six bands from 0 to 50 km, each with a fixed fee, calculated from your address before you confirm the order.
The delivery zones at a glance
- Zone A — 0 to 10 km — $25
- Zone B — 10 to 15 km — $40
- Zone C — 15 to 20 km — $55
- Zone D — 20 to 30 km — $70
- Zone E — 30 to 40 km — $90
- Zone F — 40 to 50 km — $150
Distance is measured from the Longwarry yard hub. If you sit on a boundary, the zone that covers your distance applies (for example, exactly 10 km is Zone A).
Why zones beat “call us for a price” on every local order
Local customers in Drouin, Warragul and Longwarry deserve a number up front. Zones let the website quote delivery instantly while you pick Redgum, Local Hardwood Mix or another product. You still get a human on the phone when you need one — especially outside 50 km — but everyday local tip-offs should not require a negotiation.
What the delivery fee covers
The zone fee is for tip-off delivery of your ordered firewood to the kerb at your address. Wood is priced separately per generous loose cubic metre (plus any bags or kindling). Payment can be cash on delivery or card online.
Kerb tip-off rules (read once, avoid drama)
We tip at the kerb. That is the standard, safe drop for tipper loads on suburban and rural streets. If you ask us to cross the kerb line onto a driveway, lawn or path, any damage or associated costs are your sole responsibility. Plan a clear, legal place for the tip before the truck arrives.
Outside 50 km
Beyond Zone F we do not auto-quote online. Call Contact Us on 0491 101 095 with your town, load size and preferred day. We will quote delivery if the run makes sense for the truck.
